Windows and how to clean them

By Jerry J. Jansen On November 21, 2009 Under Internet Marketing

Windows are one part of the house that is so hard to clean. That is why some homeowners resort to hiring window cleaners.  But if you are someone who likes to do it yourself here are some good tips.Aided by these tips you would definitely do a fine job in cleaning your windows.

One thing for sure is the fact that cleaning your windows takes time.So you should provide a whole morning or afternoon when you are going to clean it.That way you will not be frustrated. Whenever I do a job doing window cleaning San Diego I always set aside several hours for each house.Since I am a professional window cleaner I know that it takes a lot of time.So if  regular homeowners will do it by themselves it will definitely take longer to finish.  So be prepared and it will stop the frustration.

Next thing you should prepare is a squeegee and a bucket.  Of course doing window washing San Diego I have a few extra tools but doing it yourself this should do.There are some people who still use newspapers in drying their windows but it will take a lot of time.A good squeegee can shorten that dying time.

Last tip would be to use downward strokes when using the squeegee.  You would be surprised but I see clients of my Rancho Santa Fe window cleaning company who have done it themselves and didn’t do it like this. What they had after cleaning were windows with dried streaks.  When you are taking the time to clean your windows you don’t want streaks.  It ends up making your windows look dirty anyways. So you will be just wasting your time if that happens.

So follow these tips and you should end up with clean windows. It will be a long hard job but once you finish it you should be proud of what you accomplished. If you don’t like it you may need to call a professional.
