By Jerry J. Jansen On June 12, 2009 No Comments

If you’ve started promoting CPA offers, the chances are good that you are ready to take things to the next level. It’s time to expand on the campaigns that went well, and cut the ones that are not going so well. That way, you can increase your income with less work, and start developing your promotions for offers that are winners.

That’s actually the first thing you need to do to take your business to the next level. Go through all of your campaigns and look at which ones have been converting, and which ones are not. It can be helpful to learn about something called the 80/20 rule. In this case, it means that 20% of your campaigns will likely bring in 80% of your income. It also means that 80% of your campaigns will likely be the duds!

If you stop focusing on the duds, and start to bring in more winners, your income can start to increase substantially with the same amount of work (or perhaps even less work!) It’s this kind of weeding through and expanding on campaigns that separates the people who dabble in CPA offers and those who do incredibly well

CPA Offers VS. Affiliate Marketing!

By Jerry J. Jansen On June 11, 2009 No Comments

Many people who are new to Internet Marketing become confused about the differences between CPA offers and affiliate offers. While there are some similarities, there are enough differences that it’s important to take note of them.

First of all, affiliate marketing is when a company (or affiliate network) provides you with a unique link. You take this link and drive traffic to that company’s offer. If some of the people who click your link end up making a purchase, you get a commission.

Some CPA offers work exactly the same. However, most of them are quite different. CPA offers are defined by those that pay you when a certain action is taken by the people you’ve sent through your link. Samples of these actions include signing up for a trial, entering a zip code, entering an e-mail, etc.

When you sign up to promote a particular offer you will get a code that is quite similar to an affiliate code. It is unique to you, and will allow the company to tell that it was you who made the sale. You’ll also drive traffic through this link in the hope of getting conversions.

By Jerry J. Jansen On June 9, 2009 No Comments

There are an incredible number of different techniques you can use to promote CPA offers. Some of these methods are easier to use than others. Still others are more costly, and will be out of reach for some people. There are also those that can be quite fun to do when done the right way! Choosing the one that is right for you is key.

One such method is to join relevant forums in the niche you have an offer in. The first thing you should do is check the forum board’s rules. That’s because you’ll be wasting your time if you are not allowed to include a link to an offer in your signature file! Many of them will allow this — provided it is a link to your own website, and not just an affiliate offer. All you would need to do then is have a link to a landing page.

You can’t expect to just come into a forum and start making money right away using spamming techniques. You need to join in the conversations and provide quality answers that will entice people to click on your link. You will not, however, directly ask

Pay Per Click is a great business model to use along with CPA. In fact, if you took a poll, you would probably find that most CPA marketers tend to use PPC. That’s because it is such a fast method to drive targeted prospects to your offers, and there is relatively little work involved.

In fact, some offers are set up so that all you need to do is use your unique offer link and direct PPC traffic straight through that. That means you can be up and running with a new campaign in literally minutes. Of course, you will need to find relevant keywords, which is extremely important.

You can find good keywords to promote your CPA offers by using Google’s keyword tool. Simply do a search in Google for this, and that tool should be the first result. Enter in a generic term, and several other options should appear that are more targeted. Using these targeted keywords that are most likely to attract people who will complete your offer makes it so that you can easily make money with this technique.

Sometimes, you will not be able to use your unique offer a link
