Internet marketing opportunity is everywhere you look nowadays. We live in the Internet age and more people use Facebook than live in any major city in the world. That is just one example of a cyber community, and it is larger than anything mankind has ever created before. We, as Internet marketers, have the opportunity to profit from the amazing number of people available through, and the unprecedented growth of, the industry.

There are so many outlets that no matter what your previous business experience is, or what your niche, you will be able to find some outlet for profit. There is a learning curve but it is smaller than those off line. It takes a few months to translate your current business practices to online marketing. There is so much online marketing opportunity that it is easy to believe that it will always be there.

Online Marketing – Hit Your Target Customer

Let’s clear the air right up front…how many of you are guilty of marketing to the herd vs. a target customer?  Fess up, come on…we have all done it in a moment of haste or naivety.  In fact, the majority do this more often than they care to realize, hence their lack luster results.  If you target everyone you will hit no one.  No matter what leave the shot gun approach for duck season.  When marketing on the internet you must have a consistent sharp shooter vision.  So let’s get straight down to online marketing – hit your target customer.

Face to face is the best selling method so think as though you are speaking to this one person with all material you present. Begin by naming your target customer after all they are a real person, right?  So for this example I will call him Joe.  Create in your mind’s eye one person that is the classic example of the target Joe in your market – what is a typical day in the life of Joe?  Further questions about Joe and his life are…Is he married, age, kids, job, income, home, hobbies?  Is the spouse supportive or not of this
